The IOPAK VACSHEAR Vacuum Mixer / Emulsifier is designed for emulsifying pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, greases, ointments, creams etc. It is especially effective where there is a high degree of viscosity and solids.
This system comprises:
Emulsification mixer jacketed dissolving vessel, vacuum system, heating and cooling system, hydraulic lifting system, material pouring device, material draining system, material inlet system, electric control system, temperature control system, working frame and pipes and so on.

The IOPAK VACSHEAR vacuum emulsifier based on German technology is constantly being updated. One of its main functions is as a process vessel for creams and ointments. The standard design includes:
- Either one or two dissolving vessels (depending on process) with control system and self heating (oil jacket)
- Main jacketed process kettle fitted with high shear emulsifier and a side scraping mixer arm as well as a contra-rotating arm
- Vacuum pump
- Hydraulic pressure system and electrical control system as well
- The equipment is characterized by ergonomic design, ease of operation, compact footprint, dependable operation, good isotropic effect, high production benefit, easy maintenance and high automatic control degree.
1.The main process vessel utilizes the coaxial triplex format to simplify the drive mechansim, reduce the sealing links and save installation time.
2. The use of American imported DXRO seals ensures a sterile and reliable seal during high temperature and high speed runs.
3. Mixing times can be set speeds can and varied over a very wide range by means of a stepless speed frequency regulator:
- High isotropic rotational speed: 0~3500r/min.
- Low mixing rotational speed: 0~65r/min.
4. The homogenizer adopts state-of-the-art-advanced technology in which isotropic effect is very good. Emulsification can reach the ideal effect within ten minutes.
5. The mixing vane or blade used in low-speed mode is angled precisely in order to scrape the side of the process vessel with no wear and tear to either vessel wall or blade
6. The vacuum capable bottom valve can be used to prevent uneven powder dispersal when powdered additives are part of the process.
7. The whole production process takes place under super-low vacuum, thereby avoiding any air bubbles which might arise from high speed dispersal.
8. The main process vessel is equipped with CIP cleaning system. All contacts are made of SUS316L.
